One of the more impressive pair of  graduates, David Drown and Lisa Berg of Silver Bay, MN, built this 4,000 square ft. beauty several years ago. It also features a two-story stone fireplace.

Soon after taking the course, Al Jensen of Anoka, Minnesota, began his red pine lake home and sauna in his backyard, then trucked them to the northwoods of Minnesota, where they were re-erected.

Jim and Nancy Sauer of Missouri are shown below with their nearly completed home built with the help of their son, Mike and friend, Bruce Gibbar near St. Louis, MO.
They’re holding the dowel model, which was revised a good bit before construction commenced.
